LIVIA BOERGER
For this weeks #wellnesswednesday, let's learn how to reset from @onyourowntermsco. Livia Boerger teaches us how to start our week off right!
PLAY ME
A good day starts with the night before - and the same goes for a Sunday. To avoid scrambling and feeling overwhelmed on a Monday morning and figuring out your to-do’s while mentally still being in weekend mode, I love getting organized on Sunday’s.
I’ve procrastinated too many Monday’s I can count because I “quickly” wanted to tidy my apartment which then turned into a three hour cleaning spree. Set yourself up for success by taking care of potential distractions and preserving mental energy by planning your days ahead of time. That way you’re less likely to skip your plans, too.
To give you an example, I’ve decided last night I would go to the gym in the morning. So once I woke up, I got ready, cleaned up my apartment and headed to the gym. Once I got back I wrote my weekly to-do list so I know what’s coming up and can mentally prepare. Then I took a bath and started my new book, to embrace resting.
