MAY'S JOURNALING WITH AVA

AVA MORENO

“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by theseeds that you plant.”
— Robert Louis Stevenson

In our yoga practice, we are constantly doing this. We are planting seeds each and every day, cultivating patience, trust, and shraddha (faith). So much of the yoga happens in the actions and in the journey, not in the destination. So, with that in mind, what seeds are you planting? What seed(s) can you plant today, maybe right now? Focus less on what you can achieve/end today, and more on what you can begin, grow, and develop.

Our Founder, Rochelle Webb shares her journal entry with you as a promise and commitment to you as our community members:

I am often reminded that people to not remember what you say, but how you make them feel. Life is hard. It can often feel like you are running in mud. Sometimes it feels like the world is against you, but it is all in your perspective. If you plants seeds of hope and determination as I do each an every day and then give yourself grace, to fall, to fail forward, to hurt, but also appreciate the love on the other side; then life suddenly becomes about growing from those seeds. My destination is ever-changing. It is not fixed and I feel it should not be because life is dynamic and exciting and it is those very experiences along the way that make you the beautiful person that you are. And for me, that journey makes me an Optimist. Keep growing, Keep thriving!
